A new kitchen or bathroom is one of the fastest ways to transform a house — but the finish quality lives or dies on the fit. HJK handles the whole job in-house: rip-out, plumbing, electrics, plastering, tiling, joinery, appliance install and decoration. We can supply the kitchen or bathroom through our trusted suppliers, or fit one you've bought yourself. Either way you get a fixed price, a tight programme, and a finish that doesn't look like something a hurried subcontractor threw in over a weekend.

How much does a new kitchen cost?+
The kitchen units themselves range from £3,000 for a budget flat-pack up to £30,000+ for a bespoke joinery kitchen. Add worktops (£1,500–£8,000), appliances (£2,500–£15,000), and full installation — including any structural work, electrics, plumbing and plastering — and a properly-fitted kitchen typically runs £15,000–£50,000+ all in. We give you a fixed price after understanding what you're after.
How much does a new bathroom cost?+
A straightforward like-for-like bathroom refit is typically £6,000–£10,000 including sanitaryware, tiling and labour. A full re-fit with new layout, walk-in shower, new plumbing routes and premium fittings runs £10,000–£20,000+. En-suites and cloakrooms scale down; master suites with underfloor heating and walk-in showers scale up.
Can you supply the kitchen or bathroom too, or just fit it?+
Both. We can price for a full supply-and-install (working with kitchen suppliers we trust for value and quality), or we can install a kitchen you've bought yourself elsewhere. Either way, you get the same fit quality — this is joinery-grade work.
How long does a kitchen or bathroom take to fit?+
A straight kitchen swap is typically 1–2 weeks. A full remodel including moving walls, new flooring, replastering and appliances is usually 3–5 weeks. Bathrooms are typically 1–2 weeks for like-for-like, 2–3 weeks for a full re-fit.
Do you handle the plumbing, electrics and tiling?+
Yes — everything in-house or through our trusted trade network. One point of contact, one price, one accountable team. No coordinating plumbers, tilers and electricians yourself.
Can we still use the rest of the house during the build?+
Yes for bathrooms — we protect and seal the room, and can usually leave you with at least one working bathroom in the house at all times. For kitchens, the space itself is out of use during the fit but the rest of the house stays untouched — we suggest a temporary microwave/kettle setup elsewhere.
